Southgate Medical Centre

This is the 4th project that we have built with GPI and it required the construction of a two storey medical centre near Crawley, West Sussex. 

This 1,300 sq metre surgery replaced the old facilities which had become too small to serve the current and future population growth.  GPI with the Hilife team, worked with NHS West Sussex and the doctors themselves to create a design that is flexible, sustainable and in line with NHS “Value for Money”.

The new facility provides enhanced patient care and access including minor surgery and an integrated new pharmacy.  The new facilities provide a significant improvement in the environment within which these services are delivered.  The accommodation also benefits from compliance with current design standards and guidance, providing enhanced access to all patients fit for the provision of Primary Care in the 21st Century.
